In celebration of their new tour The Whip also announce the release of their electrifying new remix album Remix Marks Destination on 24th August. The album presents a whose who of today’s most cutting edge talent, featuring remixes from Whip cohorts such as Van She, Black Ghosts, Hearts Revolution, Black Affair, Crookers, Hadouken!, South Central, Bloody Beetroots, Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya Ya and Ashley Beedle.

Not satisfied with doing things in two’s The Whip are offering all fans the chance to leave a show with a limited edition USB wristband containing a recording of one of the tour nights, with additional user storage space. These wristbands can be bought via the Whip’s My Space page.

In this author’s humble opinion, the best and most innovative use of the USB wristband is to load them with recording’s of the same night’s performance. Soundboard technicians immediately load up the tiny devices with a recording of that night’s show, letting fans purchase a copy on their way out of the venue.
